The day that I recorded this podcast episode I told my daughter she needed to get her room clean. It was about the third day in a row of telling her she needed to do this. Every day she had some reason, aka excuse for why she couldn’t do it. Her decluttering motivation just wasn’t there.
When I get asked where I got my stuff, or for product recommendations it goes against the entire focus of Motherhood Simplified.
Mothers have unique circumstances, and unique societal pressures and expectations. This is why moms need to declutter differently.
I believe that rather than looking for lists of things we should have, diving into your home and decluttering is the only way to learn how to declutter and have enough, but not too much.
These are the top reasons I think every parent should declutter toys.
