Yes, decluttering will give you a clean and organized home, more easily. But the reasons to declutter go far beyond that!
There are so many more reasons to declutter your home! Yes it feels good to be in a space that looks good. It feels good to be able to show it off (or at least not embarrassed by it). We can be proud of what we have, of course.
What I want for you is so much more than that.
When I decluttered my home, all of a sudden my life got really simple.
I remember going to work for 12 hours a day, coming home, making dinner, getting kids to bed and then having nothing to do.
Yes, of course I found things to do. But the never ending to do lists were gone. I had the time and energy to workout, talk with my husband (about more than all the things we were behind on).
At first it was great, and I welcomed the freed up time and energy. And then is when the deeper changes started happening.
Because I had more time and energy, I was able to address big problems that needed solutions in my life.
Time. with kids. with self. with spouse. with career. I was able to start therapy. Establish and maintain boundaries. Budget my money and get control of my spending habits.
I got fully into my motherhood, and I want that for you too.
